KNEEBONE
& BERETTA CONSULTING ENGINEERING GROUP
The
consulting engineering practice of Kneebone and Beretta
originated over 40 years ago in 1963. It specialises
in the fields of structural and civil engineering, particularly
related to building works, and maintains offices at
Parramatta and Penrith in NSW. A staff of 9 professional
engineers and 10 draftspersons together with back-up
clerical personnel ensures adequate flexibility to handle
projects of all sizes. In-house computers and
computer aided design and drafting facilities are extensively
used.
The
firm is a member of the Association of Consulting Structural
Engineers of NSW and of the Association of Consulting Engineers,
Australia, and acts as a consultant to a number of Sydney
metropolitan Councils including Parramatta, Holroyd, Hornsby,
Bankstown, Blacktown, Penrith, Liverpool and Baulkham Hills.
Principals are Enrico L Beretta BE(ETH) FIEAust CPEng(Reg),
Bruce N Jamieson BE MIEAust CPEng(Reg) and Angelo J Vardouniotis
BE MIEAust CPEng(Reg) Trevor B Hall BSc(Eng) FIEAust CPEng(Reg)
and Peter Andresen BE MIEAust CPEng(Reg).
A
quality management system in accordance with AS/NZ ISO 9001
is implemented by the group having been independently accredited
for substantial implementation. It is the policy of the firm
that a Director is involved and responsible for each project.
Since
its inception the practice has successfully completed over
60,000 separate commissions. A few of the larger public,

addition the firm has developed extensive experience in specialised
forms of building construction such as portable buildings, sandwich
panel structures, prefabricated steel housing, bulk loading
cranes and environmental protection exhaust facilities.
All
engineers are experienced in the preparation of expert reports
in relation to building and structural problems and the principals
have assisted in a number of legal cases as expert witnesses,
being NPER-3 registered engineers.
