Limited Design functions similar to above. Control of Mechanical
Testing Laboratory and signatory to N.A.T.A. certificates. Technical
adviser to customer, to management and to Contracts Officers.
1976-
Senior Structural Engineer with Kneebone & Beretta Consulting
Engineers Pty Ltd, Parramatta, having principal oversight of
a number in excess of 6000 separate engineering projects. Experience
has been gained on a large variety of consulting practice involving
design, site supervision and/or investigation of building work
with structural component values of some in excess of $3,000,000.
Areas of competence embrace members of structural steel, reinforced
and pre-stressed concrete, timber, aluminium and fibre glass
construction, together with a sound and practical knowledge
of a wide range of foundation engineering techniques. Responsibility
taken for supervision of work performed by junior engineers
as well as for their training. Experience includes giving expert
evidence on structural engineering matters on behalf of clients
before tribunals and civil courts of jurisdiction.
Responsibilities
also include checking of structural drawings on behalf of a
number of Councils including Parramatta, Holroyd, Hornsby, Bankstown,
Blacktown and Baulkham Hills.
